Experientialism

Aurora is a dancer and performer from Greece currently based in Berlin. Through their work they explore physical limits, the possibilities that open up when contrasting ideas are mixed and how the mind and body can let go of identity, opening new gates of existence, where transformation is fluid and boundless. Aurora uses playfulness, absurdity, imagination and humor to unlock unfamiliar pathways of movement. Their goal is to unlock unknown unknowns and, through it, discover and bring new perceptions and emotions to life.

Konstantina Kapnopoulou is an experimental modular synthesist and live performer based in Berlin. Her primary research is focusing on interdisciplinary live performance in collaboration with dancers. Contextually, her work touches on the rhizomatic post-structuralist model as an opposition to capitalist-inclined tree structures, the importance of liveness and of non-hierarchical relationships between her, the modular system, the dancers and the audience. The performances she aims to devise are highly dependent on emergence, chance-driven operations, reciprocity, shared authority and on how the above mentioned aspects act as a barrier towards the current socio-economic system and its subsequent alienation.
